How to use SurgeX Selector?
You are just three easy steps from selecting proper Power Solution for your AV/IT installation. Let's start!
Step one: About power management through IP
Monitoring status of connected devices, remote switching off and on, power schedules, detailed reports and other useful stuff - you can have it all if you select “Yes” during this step.
If you want to focus on power protection capabilities of SurgeX devices - select “No”.
Step two: Select proper load
For smaller installations like meeting rooms, conference rooms, kiosks, small digital signage installations - under 2200 Watts should be more than enough. If you are going with a bigger installation with a lot of devices connected - go for the second option.
Remember: here you select a load for a single SurgeX PDU - consider the fact that most advanced projects may require more than a single PDU.

Step three: How many devices are you going to connect?
Select the number of devices you are going to connect to a single SurgeX PDU. The suggested method is to connect one device to one outlet. However, connecting the power strip to the outlet is also an option.
